General Bockers (738) def. Admiral Razor (421) and Fleet Admiral Benji (385)
One more time, sing a song...of battle that is! The final FLF tournament before we all go off to college was intended to be a psycho bloodbath, and boy we weren't far off! Once again we constructed a galactic map including every mission to date. Each participant represented two affiliations, and some new cards were created just for this game. We began the 8 hour festival of war with a whimper from time of Razor scoring 10 points by launching the Pheonix in the past and getting a 10 point lead. As time passed, large fleets formed, and then it was time to mobilize. Bockers commandeered Empok Nor as Benji went out to encounter Razor's fleet. A massive fleet of Domnion and Cardassian ships was more than a match for the Fed/Romulan forces and Razor's fleet was left for scrap with a few survivors returning home to suppliment the second wave. Bockers capitalized on the strugle to score points at many missions. Often he encountered his own dilemmas which certainly made things interesting. As time dragged on, it became evident that Bockers was going to hold the lead, so Invasive Transporters came into effect. Benji invaded Razor's ships and decimated the majority of the crew and scoring points for the bodies he piled up at the end (according to modified battle rules for the tournament). But, it only kept them occupied as Bockers finished far ahead. The team looks forward to school and life, but we'll have to do a few tournaments in the future just to keep the blood pumping (inside at least). Thanks guys for a great time and some WILD matches.
