In preparation for the Beta 3 Regional, His Honor, the High Commodore of Nottingham (Commodore Bockers) offered a challenge to the FLF to see who was most prepared for what lied ahaed. The format was the first Swiss format tournament played so far for all of us, and the format we will use from now on, due to our newest member, who will play in the next tournament. Benji seemed unbeatable after his first game, and so it turned out to be after his 6(+163) thrashing. Captain Razor, previous title holder, got completely shut out this time, adding to his now 6 game losing streak, going into the regionals on Sept. 21. Razor was obviously not happy with his performance. Commander Bockers seemed to be playing the extremes all day, either winning or losing by over 100 points a game. Commander Wolfe had a good first game, but was hit hard the next two games, especially his third against Bockers. It appears that some work will need to be done, but all in all, most of us are ready for the regional.
