Tactical Data

The Spring Break Challenge will be forever burned in the minds of the participants. With the absence of Commander Wolfe, it was decided that the title match would be held as a three-way fight to the finish. The objective was simple: 200 points for the victory, no time limit. After a rather long seeding sequence, Bockers took off scoring 181 points in the first hour of play, while holding the other players scoreless (or in Razor's case, 16 points on the bad side of zero). A horrid battle then began as both Benji and Razor combined efforts to keep Bockers at bay. Razor, slowly over the remaining hours of play, amassed at one time up to a score of 198, at the time 15 ahead of Bockers. The turning point came when Benji encountered Royale Casino:Blackjack. Benji was the only one with any points under 21 (Razor had 28, but would have had 21 if he would have played Eric Pressman on the previous turn as he had planned). Razor lost his edge on the lead after that and let Bockers gain the upper hand and win. Bockers was quoted saying, "This is the last time that either of you two will get the title. Ha ha ha ha!!" Benji and Razor were both optimistic that the next tournament would turn out differently.
