We decided it may be interesting if we began a tradition of giving medals to members who show incredible skill, tactics, and other noteworthy things. This is mainly because promotions will be very, very few and far between from now on. For ease of graphic development, only the ribbon bars will be created.
Each affiliation will have two medals associated with it. The Service Cross honors a member who has accumulated 10 deck points in that affiliation. A deck point is recieved by playing a deck consisting heavily of that affiliations personnel. A treaty deck with multiple affiliations counts in both affiliations, but a Federation deck with one Romulan is a Federation deck. One point is recieved for simply playing the affiliation and an extra point is awarded for a victory. The other medal is awarded for excellence while maintaining the beliefs of that affiliation. An example would be Federation experience using primarily Diplomacy and Leadership. A repeatedly victorious treacherous Klingon player would not be in line for this medal. The Service Cross must be awarded before the high level medal can be given. FLF medals exist to fill in the gaps and does not concern which affiliations a person plays. The ribbons may be arranged in any way.
