Since the holiday tournament had just gotten over, we decided that this would be a fool around day to experiment with our latest cards. Actually...the Borg. Razor had gone off to England so it was just the three of us. To make sure we could both practice both being assimilated and assimilating, this was the format: Benji was to assimilate Wolfe, he to Bockers, and Bockers to Benji. The day started off slow as the other two tried to finish their decks. In the first game, the Borg proved to be the powerhouse. Wolfe attempted his only mission of the game and got 20 points, but lost 13 on The Higher...The Fewer. Benji jumped out to an early lead that he would not lose. Locutus came back to the Collective as Jean-Luc became the counterpart, and a short time later Earth was assimilated, as was Wolfe with a final of 120-7. Now it was Wolfe's turn behind the tubules. Bockers pulled a fast one by playing Romulan and it certainly worked. Wolfe could not seem to draw a decent ship. He didn't care to use a Borg Sphere, and the Decius and Tama looked hungry. As soon as he got a cube he targeted Commander Tomalak for a counterpart. Well, the Decius is a lot faster than a Borg Cube with a Baryon Buildup. Wolfe was stuck until he got a Change of Plans, but that didn't help as Bockers rode on to a 127-0 victory. We had run out of time for that night so Bockers and Benji decided to play the final game at a New Year's party the next day. At first, Benji was plagued by Wolfe's disease: no ships. He finally wasted a Wall of Ships to get the Future Enterprise out and of course, out of the next five draws, three were ships. Out of nowhere, bockers came storming out of the Delta Quadrant to Salvage Starship at Wolf 359. However, he just happened to run into a Dead End, and it was just that. The battle-craving Benji, being at 95 points, decided to claim a war trophy: a Borg Cube. The fleet of the Enterprise-C, Enterprise-D, Enterprise-E and Future Enterprise, slowly rumbled down the line. Bockers had finished scouting a planet, but could not get the right probe cards. Since he got rid of Weak Spot, Benji only damaged him as did he to the Enterprise-E. Bockers fled to the Delta Quadrant, knowing he would never make it back. Denied of his prize, Benji did his final Patrol Neutral Zone to make it 125-0.
